Our first week in Nelson, we stayed at a pottery school, located at the top of the town. The walk up from the shops was gruelling for a city dweller (even if we do live on a hill).
The views, however, were amazing, and on several occasions, this lone tree on a ridge on the other side of the lake really stood out.
